Privacy Policy

Flora & Flame ("Flora & Flame," "we," "us") operates floraandflameca.com (the "Site"). This policy explains what information we collect through the Site, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It covers the Site only. It does not cover dispensaries or other websites we link to.

Who the Site is for

The Site is intended only for adults 21 and older. Visitors confirm they are 21 or older before entering. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21. If you believe someone under 21 has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Information you give us
  • Newsletter sign-up: your email address, and the page you signed up from.
  • Wholesale inquiry form: your name, email address, dispensary name, cannabis license number, any message you write, and the page you sent it from.
  • Emails you send us: whatever you choose to include.
Information collected automatically
  • Age confirmation: when you confirm you are 21 or older, your browser saves a small note on your device so you are not asked again for 30 days. It is not sent to us.
  • Analytics: after you confirm your age, we use Google Analytics to understand how the Site is used, such as pages viewed, how you found the Site, device and browser type, and approximate location based on your IP address. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. We use it for statistics, not to identify you.
  • Store locator maps: the store locator map is provided by Google Maps. When it loads, Google receives your IP address and, if you search, the ZIP code or city you enter.
  • Hosting and media: our host, Netlify, and our media provider, Cloudinary, process standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the Site and protect it from abuse.
How we use information
  • To send the newsletter you signed up for, including new drops and offers.
  • To respond to wholesale inquiries and set up retail partners.
  • To understand and improve the Site.
  • To keep the Site secure and prevent spam and abuse.
  • To comply with the law.
Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Site, and only so they can provide those services to us:

  • Netlify: hosts the Site and stores form submissions.
  • Hostinger Reach: manages our newsletter list and sends newsletter emails.
  • Google: Google Analytics and Google Maps, as described above.
  • Cloudinary: delivers some images and video.
  • Stripe: will handle checkout for merch once the shop opens. You will enter payment details on Stripe's checkout page, and we will not receive your full card number.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, to investigate fraud, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger or sale.

Your newsletter choices

Every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email us and we will remove you.

Cookies, analytics and Do Not Track

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The Site still works without Analytics cookies. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The Site does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.

How long we keep information
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
  • Wholesale inquiries: as long as needed to respond to you and manage our business relationship.
  • Analytics: according to our Google Analytics data retention settings.
Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections to the Site. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing support@floraandflameca.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and within any period the law requires.

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under California law. To make a request, email us at the address above and we will respond as the law requires.

Visitors outside California

The Site is operated from the United States and intended for California adults 21 and older. If you visit from elsewhere, your information is processed in the United States.

Links to other websites

The Site links to dispensaries, Weedmaps, Instagram, YouTube and other websites we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own, so please review their policies.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date above.
